The Guardian has turned its attention to Hyuna′s comeback.
On October 24, The Guardian, a popular daily in Britain, reported, "If anyone could follow Psy′s success it would be 4minute′s very own Hyuna, who not only produced one of 2011′s greatest songs with Bubble Pop but also has a cameo in Gangnam Style, a video that′s now been watched 532m times.′
Popjustice, another pop site in Britain, also introduced the music video for Hyuna′s Ice Cream along with Justin Bieber′s. This is the second time the site has touched on Hyuna since it introduced Bubble Pop as its song of the day.
News of Hyuna′s comeback with Ice Cream also made it to Russia, America and Europe. MTV Russia showed its interest in Hyuna′s performances and music video, saying she is the hottest star in Korea, while Billboard.com of America called it a video everyone needs to see this week.
The American online outlet Examiner pointed out that Hyuna became a star with Bubble Pop before Gangnam Style, and said about her new music video that it is a "sexy, sweets-filled video."
A popular radio station in Poland and Perusian radio network RPP Noticias have also voiced their anticipation toward Hyuna′s activities.
Hyuna′s music video for Ice Cream shot through 8.6 million views in just three days, proving the global attention she was being paid. She will perform her new single for the first time on October 26 through KBS2′s Music Bank.
