Recently on April 15, cable channel tvN announced, “All the members from girl group 4minute, Nam Ji Hyun, Heo Gayoon, Jeon Ji Yoon, Kim HyunA, and Kwon So Hyun,will be appearing on the upcoming episode of the show ‘SNL Korea.’ The concept of their skits will be sexy, and it will be different from what the Brown Eyed Girls’members showed when they appeared last year.”

Brown Eyed Girls was the first girl group to appear on “SNL Korea,” and their rated R parodies received a lot of attention at the time. With high expectations, the fans are looking forward to sexy icon HyunA and the other members’ suggestive performances.

Meanwhile, this episode of “SNL Korea” will be aired on April 27, 2013.

130418 4minute are Queens of the Jungle in New Album Photos

4minute is coming back and in preparation, they are delivering surprise after surprise with visually stunning concept photos that only increase the fans’ anticipation for their return.

In these new album jacket photos, the girls take on a “wild chick” concept. Posing in front of a “jungle” background, the members are dressed in vivid colors and patterns that only emphasize the group’s trademark charisma and powerful image.

Cube Entertainment also announced that 4minute worked with famous producerBrave Brothers for the first time for the new album. He composed their title song which is said to be in the “fantasy hip-hop” genre. The song reportedly combines the hip-hop beat with a never-before-attempted range of synthesizer sounds.

The new album will be released April 25.

130416 Who Wore It Better: Innocent Sulli vs. Sexy HyunA

It’s time for another round of Who Wore It Better and this time, it’s between f(x)‘s cutie Sulli and 4minute‘s sexy diva HyunA.

Both Sulli and HyunA recently sported the same t-shirt with a pair of lips printed on the front.

Sulli wore this shirt for an advertisement photo shoot. She looks natural and youthful, especially with her hair tied back, which showed off her long and graceful neck. She pulls off the innocent and cute as she wears the t-shirt in a casual way with feminine pink makeup.

On the other hand, HyunA sports the t-shirt with brown wavy hair tumbling down and strong, black eyeliner. This created a totally different look from Sulli’s as HyunA displays her signature sexiness. HyunA also pulled the t-shirt down one shoulder for that sexy edge.

On April 17, Cube Entertainment tweeted, “Soon, 4-4-4-4-4mniute will be making a comeback with a new album on April 25~ Revealing the group photo with 4minute’s fantasy concept!!! 2013.04.25.”

The photo showed all five members dressed in brightly lit neon colors under a black light, exuding a mysterious yet intriguing aura.

130416 4minute to be the Second Girl Group to Host ‘SNL Korea’

On April 15, tvN staff announced that 4minute will hold the reins on April 27’s broadcast of the 19+ live comedy program. All four members will be present and are ready to dive directly into a newer sexy comedy than shown before with Brown Eyed Girls in 2012.

The staff is currently in preparation for diverse skits and videos for 4minute and is anticipating how the members will pull off the 19+ acts.

Meanwhile, ballad singer Lee Soo Young will be hosting the April 20 broadcast.

Gayoon, who previously revealed that she lost 8kg (~17.6 lbs) from practicing2YOON‘s “24/7” choreography, left fans in awe with her newly toned figure in the pictorial. The fashionista also posed as a young girl with her doll, a girl-next-door with her t-shirts and shorts, and the goddess that she is in a white chiffon dress.

130404 4minute”s Heo Ga Yoon Says She”s Never Dated B2ST”s Yoon Du Jun or Yang Yo Seop

4minute′s Heo Ga Yoon cleared up the rumors surrounding her and Cube Entertainment label mate B2ST.

The second part of the February 4 broadcast of The Beatles Code 2 featured 2Yoon′s Jeon Ji Yoon and Heo Ga Yoon, Baek Ji Young and Brown Eyed Girls′ Jea.

When the MCs pointed out that B2ST′s Yoon Du Jun had chosen her as the idol he would like as his girlfriend, she explained, “That′s because he thinks I′m easy. He probably said that because we′re close friends.”

Last year Yoon Du Jun said in a variety show after being chosen as the no. 1 idol female idols would want as their boyfriend that he would like to have Heo Ga Yoon as his girlfriend.

The MCs asked whether she ever started to think differently of Yoon Du Jun, but Heo Ga Yoon merely said, “I don′t see him as a man. We′ve seen too much of each other when we were in training.”

She also said about her rumors with B2ST member Yang Yo Seop, “They′re not true. I′m just close friends with [Yang] Yo Seop oppa (big brother).”

She instead opened up about how she had broken up with her first love, who was a soldier, when she was a trainee.

130403 4minute”s Heo Ga Yoon Nam Ji Hyun Become Grace Kelly and Twiggy

Heo Ga Yoon and Nam Ji Hyun will be transforming into Grace Kelly and Twiggy.

The two will appear in person on the April 3 broadcast of Onstyle′s Get It Beauty and showcase 20th century beauty icon styles.

The day′s episode will center around digging into styles of the past, claiming that modern trends can be easily picked up if one knows past styles.

Heo Ga Yoon will be donning makeup and hair reminiscent of Grace Kelly, one of the most notable actresses of the 1950s, while Nam Ji Hyun will become the 1960s fashion icon Twiggy, with her heavy eye makeup and neat, pulled-back hair.

The show will also delve into popular items of the 90s, such as two-way cakes, lip-liners and color mascara, and compare them to modern items like CC creams and changing lipsticks.

It will then compare 90s makeup styles, such as sharp, tilted eyebrows, thick lip-liners and matt skin finishes with recent makeup trends.

130330 4minute Is Preparing for a New Album

On March 29, group 4minute’s agency “Cube Entertainment” announced, “4minute has recently started to prepare for recording a new album. This new album will include powerful sounds, similar to 4minute’s earlier works.”

In its early days, 4minute has been well loved for its addictive electronic sounds such as “Hot Issue” and “Muzik.”

An official from the agency stated, “The members are involved in every aspects of this album, including the songs, choreography, and styling. This new album will represent the musical personalities of the members. 4minute will go back to the improved and upgraded version of its original concept.”

It has also been announced that songs written by the members will also be included in this album, which will be released in May or June this year.
