The beautiful ladies of 4minute made a guest appearance on the latest episode oftvN‘s ‘Saturday Night Live Korea‘, and it’s clear that they enjoyed themselves!

In a photo posted to actor and ‘SNL’ cast member Kim Min Kyo‘s Twitter, the members of 4minute are seen hanging out with some of the other cast members and staff of the popular spinoff of the American comedy program. “Did you enjoy the SNL live broadcast with 4minute?” he asked. “There were a lot of accidents, but it was kind of funny^^”

4minute snapped a group picture on the set of the upcoming ‘Idol Special’ episode of MBC‘s ‘Infinity Challenge‘.

On April 25th, Sohyun tweeted the above picture and wrote, “4minute came to film for ‘Infinity Challenge’ kekekeke. Please look forward to our first stage tomorrow kekekeke.”

The members seem to be anticipating their promotions for “What’s Your Name?” as well as their guest spot on the popular variety show.

4minute will be guest starring on the episode of ‘Infinity Challenge’ along with other idols, including SHINee, INFINITE, and After School. It’s been reported that the idols will be competing in a strange survival quiz show in which the contestant who gets the most problems wrong will win.

Today, Nam Jihyun posted on her twitter, “We are….One!” along with a picture.

In the picture, all five members are sitting on top of one another, making it look like all 5 are sitting on one chair.

They are making comical poses and expressions as well, making it more comical.

Internet users commented, “They look like they’re having fun” and “They are all so cute.”

4minute made their official comeback today with their new title song, “What’s Your Name?”

130427 4minute Saves the World by Asking Zombies “What”s Your Name?”

4minute has been asking for a name for the past week or so, but once you learn who the group has been after all this time, you′ll either fall out of your seat in terror or burst out laughing.

4minute released the music video to its new single What′s Your Name? on April 26. The song is a piece by the hit-making composer Brave Brothers, which practically guarantees the song a Brave Brothers brand of addictiveness.

With the song comes a cute hip-hop dance routine, along with some neon and a whole lot of spangles.

For the first two-thirds of the video, it′s all about the bling bling and the partying, as everything goes the way such music videos would go. The members are bored out of their wits in their pink room when they get a phone call calling them out, and they arrive in the street to be surrounded by men from all kinds of vocations.

Seeing no man that tickles their fancy, the girls head to a makeup room to get them selves made up supposedly for another party.

And soon they′re hit with the party of their lives.

Jeon Ji Yoon′s all done and starts sifting through a magazine, when a breaking news report on TV catches her eye.

Zombies have taken over the world.

Yes, zombies. In party wear.

Jeon Ji Yoon calls the members around the TV as they make a fuss about what they see, when suddenly they all notice something horrifying.

′The door opens and you come in handsome,′ the lyrics say, as the neon-clad zombies and the zombified versions of the men they hit on in the street that afternoon come crawling in the door.

A fight ensues (involving chairs, police batons, hair dryers and a lot of silent screaming) and the girls escape to the street they were in earlier, only to be surrounded by more zombies.

Someone screams, the video goes out, and all seems lost…when the video comes back on to show 4minute has seemingly managed to conquer the zombies with their new song.

In the Thriller-like scenes, all the zombies dance hip-hop with 4minute while in others, the members are shown asking for the names of the zombies they′ve managed to capture, who all have signs reading ′No Name′ around their necks.

So it is that 4minute saves the day.

Once you get over the flashing colors and the quick-paced, dizzying editing, as well as the presence of zombies, you have to admit the idea is pretty cute.

But we just want to ask why.

130425 4minute is All Set to Put on Some Shocking Humor on “SNL Korea”

Despite being a girl idol group, 4minute is determined to hit Saturday Night Live Korea (SNL Korea) hard.

The group will appear on the April 27 broadcast of tvN′s SNL Korea as the episode′s hosts. As 4minute is known for its sexy and shocking images onstage, it has fans of the group and of the show looking forward to seeing what it will have in store for the appearance.

Most of the anticipation has especially been trained on member Hyuna, as she′s become known for her cute and sexy image through such singles as Trouble Maker,Bubble Pop and Ice Cream.

She will be putting on adult-only skits, weird humor, self-parodies and self-disses for a hot saturday night.

Producers commented, “Though 4minute has been busy with preparations for its comeback, it′s so passionate that it is set to appear the day after it performs in its comeback performance. The members are all very enthusiastic, even thinking up a skit set in a school setting.”

They added, “Hyuna is especially a big fan of SNL Korea; she said she′s seen most of the episodes. You can look forward to the best live comedy show ever, as the members are working their hardest.”

It’s not just Taeyang, G-Dragon, and Phantom who are fans of Cho Yong Pil.

4minute got a chance to snap a photo with the legendary singer Cho Yong Pil as well. Member Jiyoon posted the photo onto her Twitter and wrote, “We met the legend yesterday, and we fell for him again because he greeted us so warmly, heh. ‘Hello’ is the best. Pop music king, ‘What’s Your Name’~?? Heh.”

The girls gathered around Cho Yong Pil, and each of them are showing off their own copy of Cho Yong Pil’s “Hello“. 4minute had gone to see the singer at his comeback showcase, and even went to visit him at his waiting room.

130424 U.S Popdust Predicts Battle of K-Pop Girl Groups: 4minute-T-ARA N4-SECRET Comebacks

U.S. Popdust recently released an article predicting that there would be competition for K-Pop girl groups in the coming weeks as they make their comebacks.

In particular, they talk about 4minute, SECRET, T-ARA N4 as well as other groups.

With a string of girl groups making a comeback around the same time, there is bound to be some competition in the air.

The first to make a comeback is 4minute on April 25. They have been releasing teaser photos and jacket photos for their new concept which consists of glow in the dark themes. Their title song, “What’s Your Name?” reveals a different image as it shows off a bit of electronic and hip hop.

T-ARA’s unit group, T-ARA N4 will make a comeback on April 29 with their song, “Countryside Diary.” T-ARA N4 reveals another side to T-ARA as they dress up in a more tough and charismatic look and reveal a more rough side.

SECRET will make a comeback at the end of the month on April 30 with their new song, “YooHoo.” This time around, they are putting the ‘sexy’ concept aside and coming back to their ‘cute’ side. Unlike their usual sexy and powerful performances, their teaser photos reveal a more cute and fresh vibe with cute outfits and themes.

4minute and SECRET will most likely be the main focus of the ‘battle’ between the girl groups, while T-ARA N4 will be ranked according to how popular and successful their new song is. This will allow us to see where T-ARA falls currently amongst girl groups after their crisis last year.

In the coming weeks we will see how these girl groups compete with one another.

130425 HyunA and Heo Ga Yoon Make the Perfect Twins for InStyle Pictorial

4minute‘s HyunA and Heo Ga Yoon transformed into a cute pair of twins!

On April 24, InStyle magazine revealed HyunA and Heo Ga Yoon’s first photo shoot together. As this was the first time that only these two 4minute members worked together, they even asked themselves, “Will we look good together?” especially when they found out it was a twin concept.

However, HyunA and Heo Ha Yoon rendered their own worries as useless because they pulled off the twin concept perfectly. The two artists sported the iconic Mod look of the sixties.

Pushing aside their signature charisma and fierce attitude on stage, HyunA and Heo Ga Yoon was said to call each other by their cute nicknames in a playful and friendly manner throughout the shoot.

HyunA and Heo Ga Yoon promised to show the public a new side to 4minute through their come back. They commented, “As we were preparing for the album, we thought of each member’s hair, makeup and clothing concepts ourselves and we’re practicing at least six hours a day.”

After revealing many solo teasers this past week, 4Minute has now revealed a group teaser for “What’s Your Name?”

While it is only 21 seconds long, we finally get to hear more of the song.

“What’s Your Name” is 4minute’s first project with hitmaker Brave Brothers. It is been reported by to be a new kind of “fantasy hip-hop” genre.

The solo teasers for Heo Ga Yoon, HyunA, Nam Ji Hyun, Jeon Ji Yoon and Kwon So Hyun have reached a total of 3.6 million views all together.

We can expect the full music video to be released tomorrow, April 26, along with their new mini album.

130424 4minute reveals individual jacket photos for 4th mini-album ?Name is 4minute?

Having released individual video teasers for Hyuna, Gayoon, Sohyun, Jiyoon and Jihyun with the tagline “What’s Your Name?,” 4minute has revealed the answer to the question in a series of jacket photos for the upcoming album, “Name is 4minute.”

Sporting the same outfits from the group concept images revealed last week, the new set ofindividual teasers feature the members gazing into the camera as petals flow throughout the background, creating a mysterious and subdued aura contrary to the previous funky teasers that were revealed.

4minute will be returning with a “fantasy hip-hop” concept and will be releasing their 4th mini-album, “Name is 4minute” on April 26th. What do you think of the new set of images? Are you looking forward to 4minute’s comeback?

130424 4minute’s Jihyun wants to know “What’s Your Name?” in her teaser

4minute has released their last individual teaser!

The girls displayed their individual charms for each “What’s Your Name?“ teaser, and Jihyun is no different! The bright colors and graffiti style background adds to the overall fun atmosphere of the teaser. As with the other teasers, the girls don’t show us much choreo, and the song clip is the same as the rest.

As mentioned previously “What’s Your Name?” is the work of none other than Brave Brothers, and its genre is described to be ‘Fantasy Hip Hop’, which will apparently go along perfectly with the girl’s powerful and charismatic image they’ll be showcasing. According to Cube, the song is an electronic hip hop song with a unique sound and the repeating lines “What’s Your Name?” will be hard to forget once you hear it.
