The K-Pop scene is bracing for the return of 4minute’s Hyuna.
After giving us a teaser image of Hyuna’s comeback single, Ice Cream, Cube Entertainment has shed additional light of what to expect.
Following the fresh and cute appeal she showed through the smash-hit, Bubble Pop, Hyuna will be revving up the sexy and powerful aspect of her through her new mini album.
According to Cube Entertainment, the singer will be working to show a more mature and stronger side to fans and listeners.
The news is sure to rattle the other agencies even more as they have already been adjusting their respective artists’ comeback and promotional schedules to avoid going head-to-head with Hyuna who has shown near insurmountable dominance in her previous efforts.
Additionally, her appearance in both the music videos of Psy’s Gangnam Style and its second part, which focused on Hyuna’s perspective, has garnered hundreds of millions of views and put her in the spotlight, raising her recognition to a larger international audience.
Ice Cream also marks the first collaborative effort between Hyuna and the Brave Brothers and is said to be a provocative and imaginative track that uses ice cream as a basis for its theme.
Melting drops on October 17.
