Hyuna is ready to sweep the music industry with the release of her material next month!

After releasing her second mini album, “Ice Cream” back in October 2012, Hyuna confirmed to make a spectacular return this summer. Her popular solo songs, “Bubble Pop” and “Ice Cream”, proved her ability as a solo artist under the cute but sexy image.

Furthermore, Cube Entertainment has revealed that Hyuna has worked with a different composer, with her new track entirely different from her previous ones. The agency also stated that concept, visuals and a definite comeback date are still being discussed.

The process of preparing for this comeback will all be revealed through a reality show which will show a different side of her.

140626 HyunA Set for July Solo Comeback and Reality TV Show

4Minute star HyunA is poised to make a comeback next month, according to her talent agency, Cube Entertainment.

A spokesperson for the agency confirmed the news, saying, “It is true that HyunaA will be releasing a new album in July. We have not yet fixed an exact date for the comeback yet, though.”

According to media reports, a reality TV show will also be aired on an unspecified channel, and will go behind the scenes of the making of the new album, as well as providing glimpses of HyunA going about here everyday routine.

The singer’s last major solo hit was the track “Ice Cream,” from the “Melting” mini album, released in 2012. She also scored a hit with “Bubble Pop,” the follow-up to her 2010 solo debut, “Change.”

She has also enjoyed recent chart success as part of musical duo Trouble Maker, who scored a hit with “Now” in November 2013. 4Minute’s most recent single was “Whatcha Doin’ Today,” released in March this year.

jTBC is going to launch a new variety show called “I’m Going To School” on July 12th and the cast line-up has been confirmed.

4Minute’s Gayoon, C-Clown’s Kang Jun, Hye Park, Fly To The Sky’s Brian, Sung Dong Il, Yoon Do Hyun, Kim Jong Min, Nam Joo Hyuk will join in this new variety show. All of them will have to attend a high school from Monday to Friday and act like a normal student.

In particular, many people are anticipating to see how Sung Dong Il and Yoon Do Hyun will adapt themselves to the school life since they already graduated from high school 20 years ago.

The first shooting will take place on June 23rd at a high school in Seoul. The production team also promised that they will try their best in order to not disturb and cause any trouble to the students from the school.

140618 4Minute celebrates their 5th year anniversary + releases music video “Thank You”

4Minute has reached their fifth anniversary as a group since their debut in 2009.

Following their debut track “Hot Issue” in June 2009, the group has escalated far in the K-Pop scene, earning numerous awards, and succeeding in duo (2YOON) and solo (Hyuna) projects. Over the years, group magazine shoots with such brands as CeCi, 1st Look, Elle, and more grew, as well as endorsement contracts for Sony Walkman, Samsung La Fleur Collection, Arena Homme, PUCCA, etc. From 2009 to 2013 the group released nine Japanese tracks, and leader Nam Jihyun also got cast into a handful of dramas and movies.

With these successful five years, the group released a music video titled “Thank You,” commemorating various events in which they interacted with and performed for fellow 4NIA’s. The video includes live concerts, fan-meetings, and a peak behind-the-scenes regarding concerts and other onstage performances. Girl group 4minute was the first K-Pop girl group to hold a Europe solo concert.

On May 23, 4minute held their “4minute Fan Bash in Barcelona 2014″ concert at Club Razzmatazz.

As this was their first Europe solo concert, this was a special moment for the group.

The group filmed while on stage using a camera to capture this special moment.

They sang their debut song, “Hot Issue” and passed the mic to the crowd to sing along as well.

They continued to heat up the concert for 2 hours and 30 minutes and had a blast communicating with their fans.

Previously, they held a concert in Stockholm as well on May 25.

140606 Cube Entertainment will be filing lawsuit against originator of Hyuna fake nude photos

Hyuna’s nude photos circulate on social media sites after they were allegedly found on a male idol’s, Super Junior Eunhyuk’s, phone.

On an online community, it was said a male idol’s phone was found after it was reportedly missing. On the phone contained the above picture of Hyuna posing topless and it quickly spread on all social media platforms.

It was later found out that the situation was just a malicious rumor. Cube Entertainment has spoken out about the issue and denied all claims. They stated that the pictures were fabricated and the perpetrator will be sued for the photoshopped picture, even submitting the original photo, also pictured above, to prove their claim.

This was not the first time that female idols were targetted. Hyuna was also involved in a similar situation during her “Troublemaker” promotions, in which Cube Entertainment also denied those claims. Kang Minkyung, Uee and Suzy have also faced the same accusations prior to this case.

140605 HyunA Fake Nude Photos Prompt Legal Action From Record Label Cube Entertainment, But Is It Too Late?

Executives from Cube Entertainment, the record label of 4Minute and Trouble Maker rapper Kim HyunA, are threatening legal action against the creators and perpetrators of fake nude photos of the pop star.

In an official statement released to several media outlets on Thursday, the Cube Entertainment execs vowed to pursue all avenues to bring to justice the people who created the fake photos of HyunA, using the common practice of putting a celebrity”s face on a photo of a naked model, with the aid of photo editing software like Photoshop, and then posted the images online.

“We are letting you know that we will take strong legal action against those responsible for fabricating and spreading composite photos and false rumors involving HyunA which have been spreading on mobile messengers and social networking sites,” the Cube Entertainment statement read.

“We have submitted documents that we have prepared, which include the original photos used to make these composite photos and the process used to create them, to the police,” the statement continued.

“We have requested a strict punishment, and the investigation is set to be underway. We will not condone those responsible for fabricating and spreading malicious composite photos and rumors concerning our artists.”

Yet, at least in the US, the damage appears to have already been done.

A Google image search using the phrase “Hyuna nude photos,” produces not only nude photo composites of HyunA, who turns 22 on Friday, but faked pornographic images of her as well.

And despite Cube Entertainment”s best intentions, as the old saying goes, “once it”s on the Internet, it”s there forever.”

Allkpop reader Mercy1990 is horrified.

“Oh, for the love of Pete! What is wrong with people?” she wrote on Thursday.

“Poor girl. I”m glad that her company is protecting her though. I hope they find the perpetrators and that the punishment is severe. And for those of you saying that she”s asking for this kind of thing, because of her music videos, that”s like saying a woman wearing shorts and a tank top is asking to get raped.”

Reader Fxcx09 agrees.

“[Just] because she uses the sexy concept when she goes solo, that doesn”t mean she is a nude model,” he wrote. “Sexy concepts onstage and being a porn star offstage is a totally different thing.
